This combined senior center and recreational facility is the newest addition to the Sandwich complex which contains the town’s police station and a fire substation. The center is equipped with an industrial kitchen, various meeting or conference rooms, a full gymnasium with a walking track, and outdoor pickleball courts.
Construction for this facility lasted ten months and included site work, mobilization, and ground-up construction of the building. Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype, Inc. designed this facility, which includes the use of solar panels, car ports, and a full security system.
